ERIK AGAZIM
FOUNDER OF ERIK AGAZIM LAW ENFORCEMENT CHARITIES

Erik Agazim is the founder of Erik Agazim Law Enforcement Charities and CEO and Founder of NPEE L.C dba National Police Ammunition (NPA) one of Florida’s leading ATF licensed law enforcement ammunition manufacturers. Under Agazim’ s leadership, combined with his hands-on management approach, NPA has grown to service over 100 local, state, and federal Law Enforcement Agencies. Erik has proven himself a pioneer of a new generation of ammunition manufacturers that create environmentally and cost-conscious cartridges with paramount emphasis on safety (both during manufacturing and usage).

Background

Erik's Background

NPA was founded in 2009 and, in just nine years of operation, Agazim has grown the company to a multimillion-dollar operation and now has 22 full-time employees. When he first started it was just him, building each individual cartridge by hand. He manufactured the ammo loading hundreds of thousands of rounds on a hobbyist Dillon Precision reloading machine in the 600-square-foot attic that he rented from a vacant church. NPA currently holds a Federal Firearms and Manufacturing License from the US Federal Government and has participated in various seminars and programs including the prestigious ISO Standards for Manufacturing Process training program. Due to its state-of-the-art manufacturing process and unmatched quality standards, NPA has been awarded contracts from the State of Florida as well as from Federal Agencies.
Prior to establishing NPA, Agazim, following in his family’s footsteps, founded Oceanic Developments, an independent real estate development and property management group. As Managing Partner from 2004 to 2008, Erik oversaw $35 million in assets from Case Western General Hospital and expanded their assets by over $15 million.

Company

NPEE L.C dba National Police Ammunition

NPA was born as a result of Agazim pursuing his interest in shooting sports by enlisting in the Miami Beach Police Department’s (MBPD) Citizen’s Police Academy. While participating in firearms portion of this course, Agazim noticed many malfunctions with the firearms the department was using, primarily due to the lead-free ammunition being used for training. Erik, committed to ensuring the safety and effectiveness of our Law Enforcement Officers, extensively researched and mastered the nuances of ammunition production. Thanks to his education in the engineering fields and interest in firearms, Agazim successfully developed a manufacturing process that increases the reliability and precision of lead-free, frangible ammunition. The MBPD quickly realized the advantage of Agazim’ s ammunition, resulting in his first contract for 150,000 rounds, which he singlehandedly produced on a handheld press in 8-weeks – NPA was born.
